Palmyra Riverbank Panorama
Vintage 1950's photo...Erin Cleaners Baseball Team
This is a vintage 1950's photo of a Riverton, NJ youth baseball team sponsored by Erin Cleaners which is still in Riverton. I did a little cleaning up of the area since the original photo was badly wrinkled up. I also added the names that my uncle gave to me since he is in the picture. Can you identify the other kid in the back?

Palmyra Grammer & High Schools
From the booklet titled "Picturesque Palmyra on the Delaware" by Dr. R. H. Lamb in 1923.
Its educational facilities are unexcelled by any town of its size adjacent to Philadelphia. Near the station on the east side of the railroad is a fine brick school house for primary and middle grade pupils, that has a corps of competent teachers, and on the west side of the railroad, about 3 minutes walk from the station, is the high school building. To meet the present day requirements an extensive supplementary building has recently been added to it at a cost of one hundred and eighty-five thousand dollars, which makes it a very imposing structure. The school ranks very high as an educational institution. a large number of its pupils come from outlying districts and the towns along the railroad. The come and go by train or trolley.

Chatsworth Cranberry Festival 2008
You can see the crowds of people that come to the festival.
This is a view looking towards the center of Chatsworth.
Some nice fall colors. I like to park down the road a bit and just walk up to town. Its actually faster than driving.
